Wood in the interior is also exposed to the sun, because wood is only colour-stable to a certain extent. Wood therefore also needs protection indoors. In order to preserve the original colour of the furniture or the floors, painting with UV Protection Wood Finish Interior is suitable.

A stain for protection, not a single coat

The wood stain for the interior prevents the yellowing of light wood and is also ideally suited for damp rooms such as bathrooms or kitchens. The semi-matt wood coating is extremely hard-wearing, water- and dirt-repellent and quick drying. The wood stain for the interior is available in two shades: One colourless, the other transparent white. The stain can only be painted over with another SAICOS article, SAICOS Bel Air Special Wood Coating. The wood stain for the interior is suitable for light-coloured interior woods that appear "untreated", but which should have long-term protection against yellowing. In addition, the woods get a treated, dirt-resistant surface. The wood stain is particularly recommended for indoor furniture and wooden surfaces, such as in rooms with high modern ceiling structures made of natural wood which should keep a particularly natural look. The UV Protection Wood Finish Interior dries quickly after painting and is suitable for the following types of indoor wood: Ceiling and wall cladding, furniture, doors, mouldings, glued wood, ceiling beams, OSB, chipboard and MDF boards, children's toys (saliva- and sweat-proof) and all wooden objects that are not mechanically stressed.

Application of the stain

In order to achieve a perfect result, the surface to be treated must be dry and clean. This means old paint coats must be stripped or sanded. Areas treated with SAICOS UV Protection Wood Finish Interior only need to be cleaned or lightly sanded if necessary. Remove the resulting sanding dust and then apply the stain quickly and generously in the grain direction and let it dry.

Indoor areas place special demands on the composition of the respective paint. We therefore make sure that our products are particularly safe to use. This indoor wood stain with UV protection is in accordance with DIN 53160 T.1+2 saliva- and sweat-proof This means that no paint passes into the mouth, skin or mucous membranes after painting. This ensures a particularly high level of safety.
