Solid teak wood flooring
Solid traditional tongue-and-groove flooring made from genuine teak. Teak is one of the most valuable and durable types of timber in the world. Our traditional timber floors made from this wood are designed for full-surface gluing to the subfloor, surface sanding and subsequent finishing with oil or varnish.

About teak
Teak is one of the most valuable and durable types of timber in the world. Teak is a medium-weight, decorative timber that is resistant to fungi, insects and acids, and is durable in salt water, damp environments and when in contact with the ground. It has low shrinkage when humidity levels change, is dimensionally stable, impervious to water and has high mechanical strength, particularly in compression and bending; the wood is flexible and moderately tough. Teak wood contains oily resins and has a greasy surface. The trees typically grow to a height of 20–25 metres with shallow root systems and a trunk diameter of 50 to 80 cm; when young, they have irregular trunks, which later become more regular (cylindrical only on high-quality soils). In some locations, they can reach heights of up to 60 metres with a trunk diameter of 2 metres. Teak is a deciduous tree growing in tropical semi-deciduous forests (including at higher altitudes) across vast areas of South and South-East Asia.
